A 23-year-old woman has died after being found with a head injury in the middle of Silverthorne Road in Battersea.
Emergency services discovered her around 2:30 a.m. yesterday. She was transported to a hospital in south London, where she later passed away. Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
The Metropolitan Police reported, “Police have confirmed that a woman found injured in the road in south London has died. Officers were called at 2:31 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, to reports of an injured woman on Silverthorne Road, SW8. The London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended. At the scene, a 23-year-old woman was found with a head injury. She was taken by LAS to a south London hospital where she later died. Her next of kin have been informed. Detectives are working to establish the circumstances.”
