Two people were killed and seven people were injured over the weekend after gunfire erupted at a bar in Penn Hills.
Seven people were injured, one critically, in the shooting that broke out just before 3 a.m. at the Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar.
The two deceased victims were identified Monday by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office as Nathaniel Smiley Jr, 44, of Pittsburgh, and Stephanie Stuart, 28, of McKeesport.
Police were called in regards to a shooting at the 3500 block of Laketon Road in Penn Hills.
The found a man and a woman shot dead when they arrived.
The seven additional victims sustained serious but not critical injuries save one person who is in critical condition.
Five of the seven injured victims had been discharged by Monday, according to Allegheny County police.
The remaining two are still hospitalized but are expected to survive.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
