Victim Identified in Fatal Interstate Accident
A woman killed after being struck by multiple vehicles on Interstate 65 in Louisville has been identified as Elizabeth Hillary, 32. The incident occurred on Interstate 65 North at the Outer Loop on Friday.
Louisville Metro Police officers responded to a call around 11:40 a.m. reporting a woman lying on the road beneath the Outer Loop overpass. Emergency Medical Services pronounced her dead at the scene.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Elizabeth Hillary died from blunt force injuries. The manner of her death is still under investigation.
Detectives with the Louisville Metro Police Department are working to reconstruct the series of events leading up to Hillary’s death.
