Blayne Blair has been identified as one of two people who died in a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 614 at Slider Road in Hurley.
Two cars were involved in a head-on collision that left both drivers dead – 19-year-old Blayne Blair of Hurley and 80-year-old James Davis of Escatawpa.
Details about the crash are sparse as the Mississippi Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
In the wake of Blair’s passing, his family has started a fundraiser on GoFundMe.
“As most of you know, Blayne’s life tragically ended way too soon. We are trying to raise funds to help his family cover the costs of funeral expenses and anything else that they may need to get through this extremely difficult time. Please keep Blayne’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as they grieve his passing,” the post reads.
It has already raised $10,840 out of a $15,000 goal at the time of this publication.
Several posts on social media have also praised Blair for his compassion and love while he was alive.
