Who was Aaron Pelletier? Connecticut State Trooper Killed in Accident

Pelletier, of Southington, CT, was conducting a traffic stop on I-84 east just prior to exit 31 on Thursday, May 30th, when he was fatally struck outside of his cruiser by a passing vehicle.

He sustained life threatening injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The offending driver fled the scene but was located shortly thereafter and is currently in custody.

Pelletier was a nine-year veteran with the CT State Police and his survived by his wife and kids.

He was a member of 125th Training Troop who served the citizens of the state of Connecticut with an unwavering sense of dedication, pride and professionalism.
