Trinity Calhoun is a Houston woman who’s been arrested and charged for shooting her mother – on Mother’s Day!
Trinity and her mom, whose identity is being withheld, got into an altercation when she arrived to pick up her daughter from her mom’s residence.
She then shot her and mom and fled but was later arrested.
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at 5131 Weaver Road at about 3:30 p.m. on Sunday (May 12)..
Officers found the victim with a non-life -threatening gunshot wound to her right leg when they arrived.
Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
Further investigation determined Calhoun, the victim’s daughter, had arrived to pickup her child and the situation escalated into a disturbance. Calhoun then shot her mother and left the scene. Calhoun was later arrested a few miles from the location.
She’s been charged with aggravated assault of a family member.
