A 49-year-old woman shot and killed her husband, their 8-year-old child and then herself in a murder-suicide in Albany.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office was called to a home at W. Bates Road in Albany Friday for a shooting.
Deputies discovered Jenny Williamson, 49, shot her husband, Steven Williamson, 49, and an 8-year-old child before shooting herself.
A concerned family member discovered the gruesome scene when he visited the home after not hearing from the family in a while.
Deputies say the family has lived in Livingston Parish for less than a year and are from the Jefferson Parish area.
