Taylor Dockins Death: 24-year-old Taylor Dockins tragically passed away on Sunday 2 June 2024 after battling stage four liver cancer. Taylor Dockins was a renowned softball player. Titan alum Taylor Dockins died after many years of struggles, procedures, and surgeries, the family announced.

Who is Taylor Dockins?

Dockins joined the Titans as a freshman in 2018. That season, she had 18 appearances in the circle, including 12 starts, and ended 7-4. Dockins had a 3.29 ERA across 78.2 innings and seven full games, including two shutouts. On February 26, she was named Big West Pitcher of the Week after throwing a five-inning no-hitter. She made her NCAA Regional debut against one batter, striking her out in the season’s final game.

Dockins started 15 out of 22 games in the circle in 2019. She played three full games, one of which was a shutout against Weber State on March 8. She finished the season 6-5 with a 2.57 ERA, second on the team. Dockins struck out 35 batters in 68 innings of work and pitched in both NCAA Regional games, allowing three runs (one earned) on six hits over five innings.

To my humble warrior in heaven…Taylor, we were all so blessed to be on that field with you, and know you in the special way we did. We will carry her spirit with us and honor her every time we put on the Titan uniform,” head coach Kelly Ford said.

Funeral Arrangements

A Celebration of Taylor’s Life in Corona, California on June 26 or June 27. still finalizing everything. We will also be setting up a Celebration of Taylor’s Life in Nashville, Tennessee for the 2nd week in July. “As her parents, we will never lose our faith in Jesus because he is the only way. as we continue to navigate this short time on earth.”
