Sally Thomas, a resident of Newnan, Georgia, and an Exercise Physiologist at Piedmont has passed away sadly leaving family and friends sad and devastated.
She was announced dead through a statement on social media that read “Heavy heavy heart today. please pray for the family and close friends of Sally Thomas , a beautiful woman all around.. always laughing.. always smiling.. truly tragic.”

Sally Thomas was a cherished member of the Newnan, Georgia community, known not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her warm and caring nature.
As an Exercise Physiologist at Piedmont, she dedicated her career to helping others achieve their health and fitness goals, utilizing her expertise in exercise science to promote wellness and recovery among her clients.
Born and raised in Newnan, Sally was an enthusiastic student at Newnan High School, where she developed a passion for physical fitness and helping others. This passion led her to pursue higher education in the field of exercise science.
She first attended Georgia College and State University in 2010, where she laid the groundwork for her studies. The following year, she continued her education at the University of West Georgia, further honing her knowledge and skills.

From 2012 to 2014, Sally attended Georgia State University, where she deepened her understanding of kinesiology and exercise science. Her education equipped her with a solid foundation in the principles of human movement and health, which she applied in her professional roles. Before becoming an Exercise Physiologist, Sally gained valuable experience in customer service and fitness management.
From 2011 to 2014, she worked as a Front Desk Associate at Onelife Fitness – Newnan Sports Club, where she welcomed members and ensured a positive experience for everyone. Following that, she served as a Customer Service Representative at Aspen Dental in Newnan from 2014 to 2015, where she was known for her attentive and friendly demeanor. Outside of her professional life, Sally was a devoted wife to her husband, Josh Thomas. Together, they created a loving home and supported each other in their personal and professional endeavors.
