According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, troopers are conducting an investigation into a collision that occurred on Monday in Spartanburg County and resulted in the death of one individual.
According to the state police, the collision took place along South Pine Street at approximately 2:56 p.m.
It has been reported by the troopers that the victim was going along South Pine Street when they were involved in a collision with the rear of a tractor-trailer. The victim was reportedly transported to the hospital for medical care, as indicated by the troopers. Unfortunately, they did not survive their injuries and passed away later.
A woman named Patsy Coker, who was 75 years old and from Union, was identified as the victim by the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office.
