Officials have identified the man who died Monday after being hit by a vehicle in Des Moines.

Joshua Scott Laird, 41, of Des Moines, was killed Monday night after he was hit by a vehicle while walking in the street in the 4300 block of Northwest Second Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
