Journey Layne Marberry, 2 years old, went to heaven on Saturday, January 27, 2024 after helping other families by donation. She will now have days of playing outside way past bedtime, being goofy, laughing and non-stop giggling.
Journey was born on May 14, 2021 in Ottumwa, Iowa. She joined her brother, River and sisters, Zoie and Mariah, who adored her!
She was as sassy as any 2-year-old can be (pretty sure she thought she was a grown up somedays). She loved unconditionally, sharing her big heart with anyone who could make her laugh or smile, and was loved back just as much by all who knew her. Journey loved playing with make-up, Baby Shark, Coco Melon, and most of all, she loved her family.
Those left to cherish Journey’s memory are her mother, Kaytee Gregson; her father, Kenny Marberry; her siblings, River Palmer, Zoie Marberry and Mariah Marberry; her grandmother, Renee White; her grandparents, Tara and Roger Gregson; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
Journey was preceded in death by her grandparents, David “Bulldog” White, Jack Fields, Rosemary White, Fred Garrison and Ethel Garrison.
Per wishes, Journey has been cremated. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Solid Rock Church of God in Centerville with Pastor Tony Angran officiating.
