Mississauga, Ontario residents are mourning the demise of a dedicated man and long-time teacher who passed away unexpectedly last week. Ian Adamson
was a cheerful and hardworking teacher at the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board in Mississauga, ONT. The brave man died after a long battle with cancer, a family friend disclosed in a tribute to Ian. Until his death, Ian was an educator at the Father Michael Goetz Secondary School (Goetz or FMG).

Father Michael Goetz Secondary School, sometimes known as Goetz or FMG, is a Catholic educational institution situated in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Established by Ed King, the organization was founded in 1987 at its initial home on Hollymount Drive. In 1990, it relocated to the southern part of the city center. The school was christened in honor of Father Michael Goetz, a close associate of the King.
Father Michael Goetz is the high school that is located next to the city core. Father Michael Goetz is renowned for its outstanding sports teams, as well as the city’s premier technological education programs, encompassing computer science, computer engineering, construction technology, and automotive technology. Father Michael Goetz provides two SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) programs, specifically one for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and another for Arts and Culture.
