The Millington Police Department is actively seeking a suspect in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred at a Walmart store. The incident, described as an ‘active incident’, occurred at the Walmart located at 8445 Highway 51. According to authorities, the suspect was engaged in theft at the store and fled, knocking down an employee in the process. The injured employee was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

In a separate incident, the West Memphis Police Department reported a shooting resulting in one fatality and another individual being injured. The incident took place on Sunday evening, March 31st, in the 300 block of West Jefferson Avenue. Upon responding to a shooting call, officers found one man deceased at the scene and another with a gunshot wound to the leg, who was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing, led by detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division.
