On Friday, December 8th, Michael Stockunas, who was 62 years old and lived in Minersville, Pennsylvania, passed away at his residence.
On October 4, 1961, Michael Stockunas was born in Mahanoy Plane, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Eleanor (Gower) Stockunas and Joseph Stockunas, who passed away before his birth.
He was a member of the class of 1979 at Mahanoy Area High School and graduated.
In addition to his son, Michael, he is survived by his companion, Shyane Stockunas, who resides in Girardville; two brothers, Joseph Stockunas, who is married to Suzanne Stockunas and is in San Juan Capistrano, California; and Scott Stockunas, who resides in Mahanoy Plane.
Mickenzie and Lila, his granddaughters, are also among those who will miss him. There is a niece and a nephew.
A private interment will take place at the family’s convenience.
