Michael Rogers Obituary-Death News; Michael Rogers Dies in Hunting Accident While Spending Time with Son
A father from South Carolina tragically passed away while hunting with his son on Thanksgiving Day. As reported by the Anderson County Coroner’s Office, 43-year-old Michael Rogers fell approximately 18 feet from a tree stand at around 4:30 p.m. Authorities stated that his 11-year-old son initiated CPR on his father prior to the arrival of emergency medical services, who subsequently transported him to the hospital.
Rogers succumbed to his injuries at the hospital shortly before 7 p.m. The investigation suggests that Rogers had been experiencing health issues recently, which may have contributed to his fall due to an underlying medical condition. The coroner confirmed that Rogers sustained a neck injury from the fall, which ultimately led to his death.
