According to an announcement made by the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner on Monday, the body parts that were discovered in a garbage in Encino on the previous month have been definitively identified as the remains of Mei Haskell, a mother of three who had been reported missing.
The accused is Samuel Bond Haskell IV, who is 35 years old and is the husband of the victim. He is suspected of murdering his wife and dismembering her body.
Since then, Haskell, who is the son of a Hollywood agent who was formerly a prominent figure at William Morris, has been charged with the murder of his wife, as well as the murder of his in-laws, the corpses of whom have not yet been discovered.
In accordance with the findings of the investigation, Haskell allegedly employed four day laborers on November 7 to remove numerous big trash bags from his residence in Tarzana.
