Martha Lynn Campbell, who was born on January 7, 1934 and lived in Sharpsburg, Georgia, passed away in a calm and serene manner at her home on March 27, 2024, when she was 90 years old. She had been a resident of Sharpsburg for the most of her life. The day that she was born was also the day that she did not survive. Martha found herself attending the Line Creek Baptist Church on a regular basis. This church was her constant place of worship.
Aside from the fact that she was an outstanding woodworker, she was also the owner of the most stunning flower beds in the area. She responded with “My Family” when she was recently asked what brought her the most joy. “My Family” was the statement she came up with. Her granddaughter, Jessica Lacy Carroll, and her brother, CPL Lee Hugh Phillips, all passed away before she did. Her brother was also passed away before she did. In addition, her husband of 58 years, Roy Campbell, had already passed away before to her passing.
Wanda Foster of Sharpsburg, Georgia; Linda Rauckman and her husband Jimmy of Sharpsburg, Georgia; Rita Moreland of Forest Park; Robin Mustapick and her husband Scott of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; Doug Campbell of Senoia, Georgia; twin sister Mary Nolan of Luthersville, Georgia; six grandchildren, Jason Moreland; Heather O’Callaghan; Douglas Mustapick; Lauren Maleta; David Mustapick; Amanda Rauckmand; and seven great grandchildren are among those who are left behind after Martha’s passing. It is planned that the graveside service that will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. will take place in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, which will serve as the setting for the event.
