A Jacksonville, Florida, resident and Keiser University Seahawks student has tragically passed away. MacKenzie Sleeper died suddenly just two days to her wedding. MacKenzie Sleeper was supposed to marry the love of her life Ian Nash. The Jacksonville, Florida woman was a graduate of St. Johns River State College and a student at Keiser University Seahawks. MacKenzie Sleeper and Ian Nash announced their engagement in December 2023. The two love birds met in high school. MacKenzie Sleeper was an adorable dancer and lover of life.
A heartbroken family member wrote: “My beautiful niece MacKenzie Sleeper… I will never begin to understand why you were called from this Earth in your sleep just two days before your wedding. Today was going to be your wedding day and you would have married your Ian Nash today. Jacob was ready to be your ring bearer today and he was so happy you and Ian included him in your plans for your special day. You were going to live your happily ever after. Our hearts are hurting. I know you got to meet your aunt Cindy in heaven and you were reunited with your grandpa Jim in heaven.”
“But with that comes our broken hearts that you are no longer with us here. Your cousin Jacob is trying to process it all. He loved you and you always seemed to notice him and be by his side. We love you MacKenzie and you will always be in our hearts. Until we meet again in heaven, love your Aunt Beth, Uncle Tom, and cousin Jacob.”
