Juvenal Jacobo Talavera, Roberto Banuelos Flores Obituary: Details of 8 people killed in Madera County crash released

Juvenal Jacobo Talavera, Roberto Banuelos Flores Obituary – The Madera County Coroner’s Office has released the names of all eight individuals who were involved in the head-on collision that occurred on Friday. Seven of the victims were farmworkers residing in Kerman and were traveling together in a van. They have been identified as:

– Juvenal Jacobo Talavera, 24, from Michoacán, Mexico
– Hector Orozco, 33, from Jalisco, Mexico
– Alfredo Morales Sanchez, 30, from Guerrero, Mexico
– Victor Hernandez Cirilo, 30
– Fidel Filomeno Ojeda, 34
– Pedro Hernandez Ojeda, 35
– Roberto Banuelos Flores, 57

The eighth victim was the driver of a pickup truck, identified as Robert Jerry Kovar, 78, from Auberry, Calif. The tragic incident occurred after 6 a.m. on Friday, February 23, on Avenue 7, west of Road 22 in Madera County. The collision involved a van and a pickup truck.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the farmworkers were en route to Lion Farms for work when the crash took place. Unfortunately, only one individual from the van survived the collision.

The authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
