The community of Markesan, WI, is reeling from the devastating loss of 38-year-old Jason Guderjahn, who tragically lost his life in a car accident on Friday, December 15, 2023. Jason, a beloved husband, father, and dedicated member of the community, leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Born on August 5, 1985, to Dennis and Carol (Shurpit) Guderjahn, Jason was a proud graduate of Green Lake High School in 2004. His life was intertwined with Misty Guderjahn, his devoted wife, and together they built a loving family, raising two children. The couple shared a special bond as they worked side by side at Integrity Lawn Service & Supply, Inc.
Family was at the center of Jason’s world, and he took immense pride in his role as a husband and father. His sons held a special place in his heart, and he was known for his deep affection for his children. Jason and Misty exchanged vows at Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake on August 11, 2012, marking the beginning of a journey filled with love and companionship.
Known for his vibrant personality, Jason delighted in bringing joy to others through his humor and antics. He had a passion for automobiles and Minneapolis Moline tractors, a fascination that he carried from his early years into adulthood. Jason was employed at BDN Transport, and Peace Lutheran Church of Green Lake served as his spiritual sanctuary.
Survived by Misty “Karen” Guderjahn, his wife, and their six children (Baley Heidt, Briana Heidt, Gage Guderjahn, Holdyn Guderjahn, and Brisyn Cobb), Jason leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. His memory will be forever cherished by Brandon Heidt, Matthew Cobb, and a loving extended family that includes aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as his sister Sara (Matt) Berry and brother Adam Guderjahn.
Funeral arrangements for Jason Guderjahn will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 440 Lake Street, Green Lake. Pastor Nickolas Haasch will officiate the service as the community gathers to remember and honor the life of a beloved individual taken too soon.
