Heather Minton of Troy, Alabama, was involved in a motor vehicle accident with her son on Thursday, June 27. She sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her son was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries hours later. Heather Minton was a wife, mother and daughter. She went to Pike Liberal Arts and studied Secondary Education General Science at Troy University. She was a High School Science Teacher at Pike County High School.
The authorities are yet to release an official report ad the factor the in the crash is still unknown. Author Arlisha Williams-Myrie of Gibsonton, Florida, confirmed the news of their passing following a tribute shared on social media.
