The lifeless body of Marayna Rodgers, a 23-year-old woman from Washington, was discovered in the Nevada desert on December 15th, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD).

Text messages recovered by the police revealed a sinister plan concocted by Harnden and Comanche. They initially intended to involve a third person to act as a customer, request services from Rodgers, and subsequently kill her. However, when the third person declined to participate, Harnden and Comanche decided to carry out the murder themselves.
One of the text messages exchanged on December 4th suggested using poison, while another proposed strangulation as the method of killing Rodgers. Comanche even mentioned using a rope or a similar item, stating, “Like how killers do it in the movies.” The investigation later revealed that the cellphones of Comanche, Harnden, and Rodgers were in the same location on December 6th, until Rodgers’ phone was deactivated.
During Comanche’s interview with the police on December 15th, he admitted to his involvement in Rodgers’ murder. According to his statement, Harnden picked up Rodgers and drove to a liquor store before parking in a cul-de-sac in the early morning hours of December 6th. Harnden allegedly informed Rodgers that Comanche wanted to engage in bondage with both women.
Comanche, sitting behind Rodgers, used a cord to strangle her for approximately 10 seconds, stopping only when he heard her struggling to breathe. Shockingly, Harnden continued to choke Rodgers with her hands even after Comanche ceased his strangulation. Once Rodgers became unresponsive, the pair drove around until they found a ditch where they placed her body and covered it with rocks.
Both Comanche and Harnden now face legal consequences for their heinous actions. Comanche is expected to appear in Sacramento County court on Tuesday, while Harnden’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 28th.
