Evan Canfield, a resident of Dryden, New York, and a cherished husband and father, passed away suddenly at the age of 30. His partner announced his passing on social media, saying, “I don’t know what I did to deserve the love that you showed me for 2 years. I found you when I needed you. You were everything to me and everything to Lysie. We were 3 short months from #becomingecsquared. Life is so unfair and cruel. I not only lost the love of my life but Lysie lost her dad.”
Who Was Evan Canfield?
Evan Canfield was a devoted parent and spouse who attended Dryden Junior-Senior High School. He was engaged to Erika Bye, a branch manager at M&T Bank in Manlius, New York, and together they had a lovely daughter, Lysie. Evan was the beloved grandson of Bonnie Canfield and the loving son of Stephanie Canfield.
From 2023 until 2024, Evan worked at Greenleaf Cabinet Makers and was a photographer at EC Media. He was also recognized as Photographer of the Year for his exceptional work as a race photographer. His passion for photography was widely admired. Evan was also the best friend of Gregg Tennant from Harford, New York, and they performed in numerous plays together during their high school years.
