Dorothy Marie Ripple, who was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving behind family and friends who will miss her deeply. Her parents, Andrew Unze and Harriet Unze, as well as her husband, Albert Ripple, passed away before she did. Her granddaughter McKenna, her children Andrew (Rosalie) and Deborah (Michael), her grandson Benjamin (Tabitha), and her great-grandchildren Elliot, Emilia, Aria, and Hailey are among those who are able to carry on her legacy. The friends of her grandchildren are also among those who will miss her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Fisher House Foundation, which is responsible for constructing comfort homes that provide families of military and veteran personnel with a place to stay at no cost while a member of their family is in the hospital.
