On March 27, 2024, Donald W. Proffit, a resident of Clarksdale, Missouri, passed away.
When he passed away, he was 64 years old. First-time parents Larry W. and Edith A. Proffit were born in Topeka, Kansas, on October 5, 1959.
They greeted their son with open arms. Donald was well-known for his steadfast commitment and extraordinarily strong work ethic, which he consistently demonstrated throughout his whole life.
He was well respected for each of these traits.
He started his career as a truck driver and worked in that field for over thirty years, demonstrating his commitment to the job and perseverance throughout.
He operated a truck. As his career developed, he moved to become a security officer at the Kansas City Airport in order to serve the community. He was responsible for a large number of passengers’ safety in this capacity.
His career ultimately came to an end when he announced his retirement from Walmart, where he had worked for a long period as an automotive technician.
Regardless of the business setting, Donald discovered that going outside brought him both pleasure and comfort.
Being able to spend time hunting and fishing, which allowed him to find tranquility in the middle of nature, was something he loved.
Another hobby of his was riding motorbikes whenever he got the chance, and he loved the freedom that came with being on the open road whenever possible.
His children Shauna Smith (married to Justin), Brenda Sue, Jennifer Ostler, Jessica Hartman (married to Alex), Megan Buckler (married to Chris), and Jonathan Baker (married to Mary) will always treasure their memories of their father.
Donald. His fifteen cherished grandchildren are just one more way that his legacy will live on.
His siblings, Louis Thrope (Nancy), Ronald Proffit (Lee), Candius Bucher (Martin), Jerry Proffit (Jennifer), and Kenneth Proffit (Kathy), together with a large number of his nieces and nephews, will all remember him fondly starting today.
His siblings will also have fond memories of him.
