His early involvement in sports at the Boys & Girls Club and YMCA laid the foundation for his future successes on the field.
During his time at Chaparral High School, Craig excelled both academically and athletically, earning recognition as a standout quarterback for the varsity football team. His exceptional talent and dedication caught the attention of 35 Division I programs, leading to numerous offers of admission. Craig’s senior year achievements, including being named an Under Armour All-American and the Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year, highlighted his extraordinary athleticism and leadership abilities.
Enrolling at the University of Michigan on a full-ride scholarship, Craig’s journey reached new heights. He set records, earned accolades such as Freshman All-American honors, and played a pivotal role in Michigan’s BCS Sugar Bowl victory, leaving an indelible mark on the school’s football history and inspiring generations of Wolverines fans.
Transitioning to the professional realm, Craig continued to excel, spending time with the Carolina Panthers in the NFL before finding success in the Canadian Football League.
