Law enforcement agencies were called to Boston Road onto the I-93 ramp following a Dodge Durango which appeared to be traveling at a high speed on the Massachusetts Avenue Connector. Police said the SUV tore through the intersection at Frontage Road and struck a concrete barrier before falling exactly 40 feet onto the highway ramp from Interstate 93 North to the Massachusetts Turnpike, investigators said the vehicle burst into flames immediately after it landed on the ground.

Law enforcement agencies identified the man involved as Plymouth MASS resident – 31-year-old Casey Brown. Sources said Casey Brown was a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) and a graduate of the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a Clinical Preceptor for MGH Institute where he was involved in training Physician Assistant students during their Dermatology clinical rotations. Casey was an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Police Investigations
Multiple departments and firefighters were seen clearing the crash scene after the incident. The scene was closed to traffic following the crash that occurred around 9:4 A.M. Boston Fire Commissioner Paul Burke confirmed that the driver was the sole occupant of the SUV.
