Police in New Hampshire issued an Amber Alert early Friday morning after the mother of two missing children were found dead in an apartment. The two children were last seen in Berlin.
Police said Elowyn Duren, age 4, and Vaelyn Duren, age 1 were last seen at about 8 p.m. Thursday with their biological father, Dustin Mark Duren.
The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office said police went to an apartment on Main Street in Berlin at 10:30 p.m. and found the body of Caitlyn Naffziger, 31. Officials confirmed Naffziger is the mother of both children.
Elowyn is described as 3 feet tall, 30 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Police said Vaelyn weighs 20 pounds and also has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Dustin Mark Duren is 37 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall weighing 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police said Duren was driving a 2017 4-door, white Subaru Impreza with NH Veteran license plate V69023.
Police said Duren may possibly be armed and dangerous and anyone who sees him, the children or the vehicle should call 911.
Officials confirmed to Maine’s Total Coverage’s partner, WMUR News Nine, the vehicle was last seen around 10 p.m. Thursday in the Concord, New Hampshire area.
