Ben Hughes Squarespace Brooklyn NY Death, Beloved father and husband died on June 3

Ben Hughes, a VP Creative at Squarespace in New York City passed away on June 3, at the family vacation home in New Paltz, New York. He was announced dead through a social media publication that read “It is with incredible sadness that I am posting this. Our friend and former Red Carpeter Ben Hughes passed away on June 2.”

Who was Ben Hughes?

Benjamin James Hughes was a graduate of Canisius High School and a native of Buffalo. He was a polymath in his interests and instilled his broad curiosity in both his work and his children. He was a fantastic person who had a significant impact on many people’s lives. His positive outlook and clever sense of humor gave everyone in his vicinity a sense of significance and inclusion.

He was a remarkable friend, coworker, and father, and everyone who knew him will continue to be inspired by his kindness, inventiveness, and mentoring. As Vice President of Creative at Squarespace in New York City, Ben oversaw his team’s efforts to establish brand awareness, which included many Super Bowl commercials that won awards.

His birthday is January 29, 1980. His children, Griffin and Gabriel, as well as his wife Mollie Glick, loved and treasured him. His stepfather Brian Brady and mother Beverly Hughes loved him. He was Alex’s, Nicholas’, Jacob’s, and Adam’s brother. Leslie Brady, Evan Brady, and Anna Brady all had Ben as a stepbrother.

Ben Hughes Obituary and Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Saturn Club, 4 PM, September 6, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made to the Benjamin J. Hughes ’97 Scholarship Fund at Canisius High School. Gifts can be sent directly to Canisius High School at 1180 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo NY 14209
