Her death was confirmed in a social media post stating: “It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of our dearest friend, Ashley Stephenson. Ashley was a cherished gem in the Harlem community, known for her ability to build connections, celebrate unity, and radiate positivity. Words cannot describe the depth of our loss. We extend our heartfelt prayers to her family during this difficult time.”

Ashley Stephenson attended Tompkins Cortland Community College from 2011 to 2013, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Business Administration and Management. She then pursued her Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Fashion Merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) from 2014 to 2016, also earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Fashion Merchandising from FIT during the same period.

She was also a Showroom Manager at Flowers By Zoe from 2016 to 2017, an Art Instructor at Graham Windham from 2015 to 2017, a Merchandise Assistant at Saks Fifth Avenue from 2017 to 2018, a Digital Coordinator at Victoria’s Secret in 2018, an Executive Assistant at Dapper Dan of Harlem from 2018 to 2023, an Assistant Supply Planner and Assistant Buyer at Macy’s, and most recently, an Account Executive at Versace.
