Beyond the classroom, Eric reveled in the great outdoors, finding joy in skiing, snowmobiling, mountain biking, and riding his four-wheeler. Snowmobiling was a particular favorite, reflecting his adventurous spirit. He was also a dedicated member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 918 of Valders, where he engaged in activities like camping and fire building, further demonstrating his zest for life and a love for the outdoors.
