In a heartbreaking incident that unfolded on December 13, 2023, 64-year-old Kevin Frazier, a resident of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania, lost his life in a fatal accident. The incident, which occurred around 3:04 p.m., involved a collision that ultimately resulted in Kevin Frazier succumbing to blunt force trauma.
According to reports, Kevin Frazier was riding his 2022 Ducati Monster motorcycle at the time of the accident, and he was wearing a helmet. The crash took place in the first block of West Main Street/Route 851, where Kevin collided with the rear of a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 17-year-old boy. Deputy Coroner Michele Kirchner was summoned to the site for investigation and certification of the death around 3:34 p.m.
The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) provided details of the incident, indicating that Kevin Frazier was traveling at an excessive speed and following the Chevrolet Silverado too closely. The collision occurred when the teenage driver slowed down for passing traffic. Fortunately, the young driver, who was wearing his seatbelt, emerged unharmed from the accident. The posted speed limit in the area is 35 MPH, and while Kevin Frazier’s exact speed remains unknown, PSP highlighted that, had he survived, he might have faced a citation for driving at an unsafe speed.
As of 6:30 p.m., Main Street was still closed between Market Street and Kennard-Dale High School to facilitate the investigation. Although no autopsy is planned, a routine toxicology test has been conducted, according to Coroner Pam Gay. The official cause of Kevin Frazier’s accidental death has been determined as blunt force trauma.
