18-Year-Old Pennsylvania Man Accused of Fatally Beating Roommate, Michael Xavier Pfender”

Pennsylvania man Brian Gray has been accused of fatally beating his father’s roommate to death. The incident occurred on Monday, December 11, and claimed the life of 68-year-old Michael Xavier Pfender. Gray surrendered to the police the same day and now faces a criminal homicide charge. The victim’s death has been ruled a homicide by the coroner’s office.

The shocking incident took place in a detached garage, where law enforcement officials discovered Pfender’s body. Gray’s father was the one who called the police and informed them that his son had killed his roommate. According to reports, Pfender had sustained multiple injuries to his head and face.

According to witnesses, the 18-year-old suspect allegedly killed Pfender after getting offended by some comments made by the victim. Prior to the incident, a group of people, including Gray and Pfender, were hanging out in the garage. However, the other people left after they believed the dispute was over.

Around 4 am, Gray knocked on a roommate’s door and mentioned that Pfender wasn’t breathing. Gray later admitted to killing Pfender and even discussed ways to dispose of the body. However, the witnesses eventually called the police.

The charging documents reveal that Gray became upset with Pfender over comments that he perceived as disrespectful. However, the witnesses believed that the two had reconciled before Gray left the garage and returned inside the residence.

The victim, Michael Xavier Pfender, sustained several traumatic injuries, including a defensive wound on his right hand. After turning himself in, Gray was held without bail and booked into the Lancaster County Prison. His next court hearing is scheduled for December 18, 2023.
