It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kerry Anne Thoubboron, a graduate of Boston University and the University of Auckland. Kerry, 31, departed unexpectedly on December 6, 2023, after bravely battling Melanoma for a year.
Born on April 16, 1992, in Bennington, Vermont, Kerry spent her formative years in Richmond, Vermont. Her academic journey led her to Boston University, where she earned a degree in Environmental Studies, fueled by her passion for sustainability. Kerry’s commitment to making the world a better place manifested in her work at Energy Sage, where she forged deep connections with like-minded individuals who shared her vision.
From her roots in Vermont to her educational pursuits at BU and her time in New Zealand, Kerry formed meaningful connections, creating a tapestry of families interconnected through the years. Perhaps in her wisdom, she foresaw a time when these bonds would provide solace during the inevitable trials of life.
Kerry is survived by her loving family, including her mother Patty Douglas, father John Thoubboron, sisters Tara and Lily, brothers Riley and Norman, grandfather Jim, aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous friends, and her cherished cat, Edward. Those who knew her will forever miss the warmth of her compassion, the radiance of her contagious smile, and the joyous sound of her life-affirming laugh.
