Jennifer Lourenco Turlock CA Obituary, Death:- The four individuals who died in a collision in Turlock on Sunday morning have been identified by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office. Daniel Lourenco, 44, Jennifer Lourenco, 45, and Uriel Guizar-Negrete, 22, were pronounced dead at the scene. The Lourencos’ 16-year-old daughter, Madelynn, later passed away at a hospital.

Two other members of the Lourenco family, a 19-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old son, are critically injured, according to the California Highway Patrol. The pair remained hospitalized as of Monday afternoon.

Pitman High School confirmed on Facebook that the Lourenco family is part of their community, though it was unclear whether all three teens attended the school. The school announced that counselors and chaplains would be available throughout the week to support students, staff, and faculty. “Please keep this family in your hearts and prayers,” the post said.

Jennifer Lourenco was a teacher at Sinclear Elementary in the Ceres Unified School District. Ceres Unified spokesperson Beth Parker Jimenez expressed the district’s condolences, stating, “Mrs. Lourenco was a gifted and dedicated educator, and a beloved colleague whose loss will be deeply felt.”

Jennifer was named Sinclear’s Teacher of the Year for the 2023-24 school year. The district is offering counseling services at Sinclear and all other schools to assist students and staff. Details about Daniel Lourenco and Guizar-Negrete were not available as of Monday.

The collision occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Lander and Greenway avenues when the Lourencos’ 2023 Jeep was broadsided by Guizar-Negrete’s 2008 Infiniti. The CHP reported that while Greenway Avenue has stop signs, Lander Avenue does not, and the speed limit there is 55 mph. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation. Conditions were clear, as morning fog had lifted.

According to the CHP, the Jeep entered the intersection in front of the Infiniti, and the front of the Infiniti struck the left side of the Jeep. The Infiniti was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed. While all occupants of the Jeep were wearing seat belts, Guizar-Negrete was not. It has not yet been determined if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
