Eric Musson Death: Recently, Eric Musson, who had been a member of our club for a considerable amount of time and whose legacy extends across a considerable number of decades, passed away. The news of his passing, which took place when he was 93 years old, has left us in a state of tremendous sorrow. A large part of the club’s history has been played by Eric and his family. Eric himself has been an opening batsman for the first XI at one point in time, and his family has also played a significant role in the club’s history.
For many generations of players and supporters, his unwavering commitment to the Colonial Cricket Club, both on and off the field, has been a source of inspiration and motivation. As a result of Eric’s unwavering dedication to the club and his enthusiasm for cricket, he became a well-known personality at Chatburn Road. Those who were present at Chatburn Road on occasion will feel his departure severely. His efforts to the club, not just during his playing days but also in the continued support he provided throughout the years, will never be forgotten.
All of his contributions will be remembered always. All of his contributions will be remembered for all of time. During this difficult time, we want the Musson family to know that they are in our thoughts and that we are thinking about them. Eric’s energy and his love for the game will always be a part of CCC, and we will be eternally grateful for the impact he had on our community over the course of his life.
