Authorities in Tempe, Arizona, are investigating after a Wells Fargo employee was discovered deceased in her cubicle four days after her last time card swipe.
The Tempe Police Department was called to the scene on August 20 following a notification from building security. The deceased has been identified as Denise Prudhomme, age 60.
Her cause of death remains undetermined at this time. Police reported that the initial investigation did not reveal any clear signs of foul play.
Prudhomme last entered the building on the morning of Friday, August 16. Her body was located on August 20 in her cubicle on the third floor, and she was pronounced dead at 4:55 p.m., according to authorities.
A representative from Wells Fargo stated that Prudhomme’s cubicle was situated in a less frequented section of the building and that her colleagues were informed of her passing only after her family had been notified.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague, Denise Prudhomme,” said the Wells Fargo spokesperson. “Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones, and we are providing support to ensure they are cared for during this challenging time.”
