Lance Mihm, a resident of Saint Marys, Ohio, known for his roles as a little league baseball coach and umpire, has recently passed away. His death was announced via social media, where it was noted that he was a 1986 graduate of Memorial High School. Lance was widely recognized for his dedication to sports, whether through coaching little league baseball or umpiring numerous games. He also contributed writings to various newspapers and spent his entire life in St. Marys.
Lance leaves behind three young children: Caedyn, Ava, and Juliana. Juliana, who is currently a sophomore in nursing school, will be the primary adult responsible for the family. Lance was deeply cherished by his community, where he was known for his enthusiasm for sports and politics.
A fundraiser has been set up by Katherine Williams to support Juliana and her siblings. The goal is to raise $10,000, with $915 collected so far. The GoFundMe page states: “Any additional funds beyond funeral expenses will be used to support Caedyn and Ava as they grow up without their biggest fan. This is an incredibly difficult time for Lance’s children and everyone who knew him. Your support will help ease the burden of final expenses and assist them in coping with their loss.
