Well-known Glendale High School basketball player, Amare Witham has tragically passed away. He was announced dead by a family member in a social media post that read “Last night I received the unthinkable call that my nephew Amare Witham had gone to heaven! He was such an amazing kid with a bright future ahead! The family needs all of the love and support from their friends and community during this difficult time. Who was Amare Witham?
Amare Witham was a well-known basketball player at Glendale High School. He was a star athlete in Springfield, Missouri and surrounding areas and had a bright future of taking the basketball game to levels unmatched. Amare was a perfect example of what it means to be a wonderful person. He had a calming presence and was extremely kind, he touched the hearts of so many and was an inspiration to everyone who knew him.
