Lauren Whinery, a resident of Cape Coral, Florida, and a Marketing Student at The University of Alabama has sadly passed away. She was confirmed dead in a social media publication on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024. The circumstances surrounding Lauren Whinery’s cause of death are yet to be made public by the family at the time of this publication.
Who was Lauren Whinery?
Lauren Whinery was from Ely, Iowa, and a graduate of Prairie High School. She attended Kirkwood Community College from 2020 to 2022. Lauren was a loving daughter to Tom Whinery and Janelle Whinery. She always had a beautiful smile and was living her best life. Lauren was named to The University of Alabama Presidents List for the spring semester of 2024. She was a Marketing Student at The University of Alabama, with Dual Minors in Sales and Global & Cultural Perspectives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
She was a Sales Marketing Consultant at SWFL Media Consultants from May 2024 to Jun 2024 and a Morale Team Member at The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation from 2022 to 2023. Lauren was a student with Iowa BIG from 2020 to 2022 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a Vice President of the Chapter at the Business Professionals of America from 2020 to 2022.
Lauren Whinery Achievements
She Volunteered in so many programs including Youth Advisor at Gems of Hope from 2020 to 2022 and Community Volunteer with the Cape Christian. She also received many awards which include Business Professionals of America National Finalist in 2020, Business Professionals of America Outstanding Member in 2022, Rotary Service Above Self Award in 2022, National Council on Youth Leadership Scholarship Recipient, and the University of Alabama President’s List.
She was a member of the Recruitment Committee at the UA Miracle, a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, Inc., a member at Globe UA, and a member of Professional Women in Communication & Business. She was experienced in team management, evaluating outreach initiatives, and formulating marketing plans. She was loved and cherished by all who knew her.
