What was Daniel Duffield’s cause of death?

The West Midlands ambulance service has confirmed that the guy who was discovered deceased at a house was a paramedic. At around 12:30 BST on Tuesday, two bodies were discovered at a house on Alpine Drive in Hednesford, Staffordshire, prompting the opening of a murder investigation. Official identification has not yet taken place, but police believe them to be Daniel Duffield, 24, of Cannock, and Lauren Evans, 22, of Bridgend, south Wales.

Who was Daniel Duffield and Lauren Evans?

According to the West Midlands Ambulance Service, Mr. Duffield worked for the trust at its Willenhall hub. Daniel Duffield was a well-liked employee who was constantly willing to lend a hand and encourage his peers. During the 11th season of the Channel 4 series 999: On the Frontline, Mr. Duffield was one of the paramedics that made an appearance. Lauren Evans worked as a mental health nurse in Bridgend, South Wales.

It has been suggested that it could be a murder-suicide. Professional support was being given to the staff to help them cope with his passing. Due to recent police contact, Staffordshire Police confirmed that the murder investigation was still ongoing and that it has submitted itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC). Detective Superintendent Nicki Addison said that the families were receiving support from specialized detectives and asked the public to refrain from speculating about what may have transpired.
