Doug was a true Tromaville legend. On July 22, 1980, Doug Sakmann was born in New York, USA. He is a producer and actor best known for the 2017 film Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High, also known as Vol. 2. He worked at Troma. He worked at Blood Manor: New York’s Premier Haunted Attraction. He lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania He from Queens, New York.

He is among the most gifted and inspirational individuals I have ever encountered. Yes, and encouraging. There is no one more supportive than him. No matter how strange or offensive your ideas were, he was always willing to support them and always ready to provide a helping hand. He was also a dream creator; on several occasions, he personally helped people realize their dreams. He made their proposal to TromaThon 2021 to bring one of the shitting whales from #shakespearesshittorm. So many never forget Doug’s gorgeous hair that was coated with corn after dipping his head into the whale poop. He also fulfilled a second specific fantasy. In addition, he assisted so many in fulfilling a childhood ambition: joining the Philadelphia Mummers. I hope he understood how much that meant to so many. After practices, we would speak to his friends for hours unend, and they could easily spend thousands of hours hearing about his bizarre life.
Originally, they were going to commemorate his birthday during the Troma-Thon this year, but now we are going to honor his life. The Troma-Thon this year will honor Doug Sakmann’s memory.

Even though today is a sad day, it’s incredible to see how many lives he has impacted and how many people adored him. Please send your sympathies to Doug’s best friend, Justyn Myers, the Lobster Club Brigade, his family, Heather, Lloyd Kaufman, and Troma, as well as to all the Tromaville residents who shared deep affection for Doug. Without him, Tromaville is much less offensive. He is our Kabukiman N.Y.P.D. for eternity.
