Award-winning Troma Entertainment Producer and Director Doug Sakmann of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has sadly passed away. He died on Thursday 27th June 2024 leaving behind all who knew him. He was confirmed dead through a post that said “You were everything that embodied independent cinema and will always be cherished in our hearts. Your spirit and love for the craft of film and art will carry on within Tromaville forever.” No cause of death was mentioned.
