Death: Erick Adams Suicide, North Las Vegas shooting suspect died after killing 5 people, injured 13-year-old girl

Five persons are claimed to have died and one youngster was seriously injured in gunfire at two apartments in Nevada, according to the authorities. Erick Adams, 57, was the subject of a manhunt by police until they revealed later on Tuesday that Adams had committed suicide. On Monday night, the shootings took place in North Las Vegas. When police arrived at the first apartment just after 10 p.m., they discovered two ladies, one in her 40s and the other in her 50s, had been shot to death, according to the police.

The third shooting victim, a 13-year-old girl, was found at the house and sent to the hospital in severe condition, according to the authorities. An officer found three more shooting victims at a nearby apartment: two women and one guy, both in their 20s. Officials said that all three of them were declared dead at the spot. The police released Adams’ photo and identity to the public on Tuesday and asked anyone with information to come forward.

Not long after ten in the morning, Adams’ whereabouts were reported to the authorities. As the police arrived, Adams, carrying a pistol, fled into the rear of a house. Adams was verbally told by authorities to put down his gun, but he defied them and killed himself, according to a police statement. No logical explanation has been found.

Erick Adams obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a later date.
