About Joe “Joee Cons” Consiglio
Joee Cons was a DJ, producer, and remixer from Toronto, Canada. His music career started with an electronic group, creating house and techno inspired by the dance scenes in New York, Chicago, Detroit, and London. Joee’s passion for mixing records led him to DJ at clubs, underground parties, and raves.
His debut single, “Get Funkee,” reached the Top 10 on the Canadian Dance Chart and was signed to Strictly Rhythm’s Groovilicious label. In 2006, Joee remixed Carlo Lio’s “Everybody,” supported by Carl Cox, which boosted his career with productions like “Don’t Stop.”
Joee has performed in Canada, the US, Mexico, and Costa Rica, with residencies at notable venues such as The Guvernment, Comfort Zone, and Circus Montreal. He has played alongside renowned artists like Danny Tenaglia, Mark Knight, Deadmau5, and Roger Sanchez.
In 2010, his track “In The Dark” peaked on the Beatport Top 100, and subsequent releases like “Automatik” and “Uno Dos Tres” also charted. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27).
