A Miami-Dade man killed his girlfriend and parents before turning the gun on himself in a triple murder-suicide.
Four people were found deceased at a Southwest Miami-Dade home on Sunday.
61-year-old Kerstyn Marie Stahre was shot and killed by her boyfriend, Jesus Regueira Jr, who also killed his parents Jesus Regueira Sr and Mercedes Morato before turning the gun on himself.
Police were called to the area of Southwest 137th Court, near 47th Street, just after 2 p.m. Sunday after a worried family member requested a welfare check on the Kendale Lakes home.
Police discovered four bodies inside the home, all suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Miami-Dade Police Department Det. Angel Rodriguez.
62-year-old Jesus Regueira Jr., who was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, was revealed the perpetrator of the murders.
The three victims were identified as 61-year-old Kerstyn Marie Stahre, Regueira Jr.’s girlfriend, and his parents 83-year-old Jesus Regueira, Sr. and 84-year-old Mercedes Morato.
Police found Regueira Jr. with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and a firearm lying near him.
All four lived together inside the home and neighbors told the media no one had gone in or out of the residence since at least Wednesday.
