Four family members, a couple and their two children, were killed in a horrific crash just outside of Eagle Pass, TX, on Wednesday.
A FedEx box truck traveling eastbound on US 57 veered out of its lane and collided with a grey 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe traveling westbound.
The impact killed all family members onboard the Hyundai – Jose Martinez, 71, Noemi Jimenez Martinez, 61, Joanna Martinez, 34, and Samantha Martinez, 25.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 10-year-old girl who was also in the Hyundai was transported to Fort Duncan Medical Center but succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital.
The driver of the truck was injured and taken to Fort Duncan Medical Center.
The incident is still being investigated by Texas DPS Troopers.
