Noah Ward was a student of Lago Vista High School who took his life on the campus on Wednesday.
Ward reportedly shot himself in a campus bathroom, prompting a lockdown of the entire facility.
He was reportedly a victim of bullying and harassment.
Lago Vista High School was placed under lockdown around noon on Wednesday.
A statement from the Lago Vista ISD at the time read: “Earlier today, Lago Vista High School was placed on lockdown due to a student self-harm situation. The parents of that student have been contacted. There is no active threat at Lago Vista High School,”
The Lago Vista Police Department declared the scene secure around 3: 25 p.m. by which time all students had been released.
The Lago Vista ISD or police are yet to officially identify the victim, but social media posts identify him as Noah Ward.
