Tony was funny, charming, sarcastic but most of all a very good friend. He ended his show with “nothing but thanks” but today, for all of us, Nothing But Thanks to you, Tony Pigg for being in our lives. Rest easy, my friend.”
The warmth and wit of Tony Pigg entertained an entire generation of New York radio listeners. His talent was a major reason why in the 70’s, WPLJ became the most listened to FM station in America and is so fondly remembered today. Tony loved his audience.
